Arraignment Set for Pair Accused of Killing A Vallejo Woman in 2015

The Reporter:

“Hill and McClain initially faced charges of murder with special circumstances (lying in wait for the victim), qualifying them for the death penalty, but Chief Deputy District Attorney Paul D. Sequeira, at an earlier hearing, said he would not pursue capital punishment.”

The firm’s client was initially facing the possibility of the death penalty, and Jessica Agnich was appointed as Keenan counsel. After a mitigation package was presented to the District Attorney’s Office and just prior to the preliminary hearing, the District Attorney announced they would no longer seek the death penalty in Client’s case.
